I am a single Christian Mom with a son still living at home and do not have medical insurance. I have recently encountered extreme difficulty in carrying on with daily life due to a range of symptoms that could be attributable to any number of serious disorders. I have gone to a local sliding scale clinic, but the quality of service there is poor and the MD is not very experienced and has refused to run the tests necessary to determine the exact nature of my ailments. These tests are expensive and could cost in the 1000's, possibly, to get the proper diagnosis.
I have symptoms which could be attributable to any one of the following autoimmune disorders: Thyroid disfunction,liver dysfunction, poly metabolic disorder, lupus, adrenal dysfunction, respiratory dysfunction, diabetes, celiac disease or ... There are many medical disorders which are difficult to diagnose and therefore go untreated, because there is such a symptom overlap with other illnesses and the difficulty lies in the trial and error of the testing. If one test is tried, but does not yield anything concrete, another test has to be run. It adds up.
Whatever is wrong, it has also taken its toll on my physical appearance and therefore my self-esteem and confidence. It is important for a woman to be physically presentable in order to have the confidence level to be successful in obtaining substantial employment in sales. I have had a number of things go wrong in my financial life recently and the health issues are just adding to an already heavy burden.
I am asking at least that just one individual or medical professional would donate funds for testing and/or his/her time, so that I could get proper treatment to enable me to return to productivity.
